Tweet this comment Cancel Submit Comment Subscribe to None Replies All new comments Fritzler Auto Shop closes door this week.by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Fritzler Auto Shop, a staple of the Wellington business community for 34 years, has shut its doors this week.Fritzler had a sign on its front door this week that said it was closed due to illness.“We would like to thank you for 34 years of business in Wellington,” the sign read.The business is owned by Lynn and Chris Fritzler of Wellington. It opened in 1980 at 22 North Industrial Avenue in the Industrial Park. Since then it has offered auto collision repair and paint and body upholstery, serving a multiple number of domestic and foreign vehicles.It won the 2011 Business of the Year at the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. Sources say that Chris is having health issues and the family wanted to devote full time to her recovery.
